AACSB Accredited

The most recognized form of specialized and professional accreditation an institution and its business programs can earn.

B.S. Business Administration Degree Completion Program

Sonoma State University partners with North Bay community colleges, via the School of Business and Economics (SBE) and Extended Education, to provide a fully online pathway for students to earn a Bachelor in Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management.

Pre-selected courses are taught by Sonoma State University (SSU) faculty during scheduled evenings (typically M-Th, 6-10PM). The online modality for courses can range each semester from the following options: Synchronous, Asynchronous, and Bisynchronous. Feel free to check out this semester's courses!

The program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and is designed specifically for students with work, family or other commitments who are not able to join the traditional business degree programs on the main SSU campus in Rohnert Park. Save time and money studying online!

Fees

The BS Business Administration is a self-supporting program administered by Extended Education and is receiving no State funding.  Fees are collected on a per-unit basis, currently $435 per unit (subject to change).

Students pay only for the courses they take each semester, so a student taking 12 units will pay $5220; a student taking 8 units will pay $3480.

Pre-Admissions Evaluation

This program will be replaced with a stateside offering for students beginning Fall 2025. Prospective applicants should contact SSU Admissions for more information about the application process for the new Business Administration Online Program for upper-division transfer students. This new program will continue to offer 100% online courses for upper-division students to earn a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management.

Current students in this program will have the option to remain in the Extended Ed program or to transfer over the stateside program to complete their degree.
