Summer Session offers SSU and visiting students the opportunity to take classes over the summer during three 4-week sessions and one 12-week session. Winter Intersession offers students the opportunity to take a full-credit class over the winter break. (also see Open University)
Extended Education offers two degree completion programs:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing
- Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies
Designed for working adults with work and life commitments, these programs are offered fully-online and can be completed at a time that is convenient for you. Your personal concierge will guide you through the process of applying and enrolling in the program. You can take SSU courses and earn your BS or BA degree on a schedule that works for your life.
Open University offers the opportunity for anyone to enroll in a course without being admitted to the CSU. You can take courses for personal enrichment or start your college career. Open University gives you the flexibility to take courses on a space-available basis and earn college credit.
If your organization offers professional development courses, programs, or conferences, consider offering extra value to your students with transcripted credit through SSU's Contract Credit program. The primary purpose of the Continuing Education units (CEU) is to provide a permanent record of the educational accomplishments of an individual who has completed significant non-credit educational and career enhancement experiences.
